I, too, got an invitation to watch Life (Part 2) and have posted about it a couple of times on my blog. I even got to interview Robert Lipsyte on Feisty Side of Fifty Radio. But I live on the West Coast and my local PBS station hasn't as yet aired the show. I'll head on over to their website because, yes, they cover lots of fabulous information aimed just at us and the oh-so-groovy generation we are!

I am waxing a little nostalgic these days, participating in an old fashioned cookie swap, when I came across your post here about the PBS series LIFE2. As suggested, I took a look. WOW! There is a little bit of something for everyone here. I started scrolling along the YouTube videos and even found one about NOSTALGIA. Too funny. I guess there is a danger in waxing TOO nostalgic too often. It's good to get out and try something new. That's exactly why I joined in the cookie swap. Because it's old fashioned, but new, too. It's a Virtual Cookie Swap, which made me laugh - who, me? Doing something "virtual?" Anyway, change is good. Thanks for reminding us about that.

I also like the PBS LIFE2 video you linked to - The Empathy Suit. It really did drive home a few points. I think everyone should be issued one of those suits. It's sad to think that we pride ourselves in our own health and fitness at the exclusion sometimes of our empathy for others who are not healthy and fit because they are very old. Thanks for the reminder.
